What People are Saying:
This book is a very approachable example of what has turned into the FIRE movement. Mr. Lancia and Dr. Jekic write about a sustainable path to financial freedom. The failure of a lot of books within this genre is that they are directive, "Save this much!" "Do this thing", where Mark and Mihaela write about ways to change your thought patterns. They bring anecdotal evidence, as well as fact based examples regarding the huge impact a change in mentality can have upon your life and freedom.
For myself, the anecdotal evidence had the most impact upon my understanding. Hearing the stories that Mark has seen throughout his life really highlighted how money and the usage of money has pervaded our society.
Overall, I highly recommend this book to people, even those who have read the basics like "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". This is a fresh approach and very engaging.

I loved this book! It isn't so much a how to book, but more about the why? I have read many books regarding personal finance and some can be very dry. Dry, this is not! I loved the personal stories Mark and Mihaela share. Their experiences motivated them and got them looking at money and possessions in a different way. There is definitely value in their philosophy. I found it very inspiring.
